Welcome to Creekside Middle School!

My career in education has spanned nearly three decades, and during that time I have had the opportunity to work with students in grades six through eleven. Most of this time has been spent with my very favorite age group - middle schoolers! I grew up in Littleton, Colorado and earned my bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Both degrees are in middle school education. Several years ago I attended the principal licensure program with the University of Denver. I spent many rewarding years as a teacher in Cherry Creek, Academy District 20, and Lewis-PalmerSchool District. For the past several years I have had the good fortune to serve as an administrator at Creekside, three years as the assistant principal and most recently as the principal. Now as principal, I continue to teach, in just a different way. I consider it an honor to work with Creekside students, parents, and staff in a District that my family calls home. I look forward to coming to school everyday, always with the intent to serve this truly amazing school community.
